Overview | Glycyrrhiza inflata. It is produced in the northwest of China, and its root and rhizome are commonly used traditional Chinese medicine. It has been included in the Chinese Pharmacopoeia as a legal variety of application. We studied the chemical constituents and antioxidant activity of the 95% ethanol extract of its rhizome, and obtained more than 20 compounds. In vitro pharmacological experiments showed that glabridin and coumarin [5] had better antioxidant activity. This paper reports the isolation and structural identification of two dihydroflavonol glycosides. 95% ethanol extract was separated by silica gel column chromatography, most of the polarity was treated by macroporous adsorption resin column, water-ethanol gradient elution, 86% ethanol was purified by SephadexLH-20 column, finally, two similar dihydroflavonosides were obtained by HPLC. |
